Congratulations to Gregg Popovich’s San Antonio Spurs, who will advance to the 2nd round for a 7th consecutive season.
The last time San Antonio lost in the 1st round was in 1999-2000 to guess who? Phoenix in 4 games.

As for Mike D’Antoini’s Phoenix Suns, they suffer their first opening-round loss since 2002-03, when Frank Johnson was the team’s head coach.

The Spurs will now advance to play the Hornets in the 2nd round. Game 1 will be on Saturday with the time TBA, but it will be played from New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA.
Until then,
