Hello everyone!

As you all know, Super Bowl XLII is just 8 days away between the Giants & Patriots! I will have an extensive Super Bowl blog up next week & you might be surprised at my pick! Even though New England has the NFL’s top-ranked offense, that normally doesn’t equate to success in the big game.

In the last 16 Super Bowls, the team with the top-ranked offense has gone just 9-7, including 2 losses alone in this decade by the ‘01 Rams & the ‘06 Seahawks.

But for now, let’s see how the Giants & Patriots punched in their tickets to Glendale, AZ…

Star Player of the Game: Patriots RB Laurence Maroney, who rushed 25 times for 122 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson on his knee injury which forced Norv Turner to sit him for most of the game:
“From getting it reinjured the first play, I just knew I didn’t have it. I’m kind of at a loss for words.”
