49ers QB Shaun Hill on winning his 1st NFL Start:

“I had confidence in myself, but obviously it’s nice to go out and actually do it. It’s one thing to sit there and visualize everything and feel like you can make all the plays. It’s another to go out and do it.”

“You see him each week make contested catches. He has strong hands in tight quarters. Those are good characteristics to have for a young player.”

Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio on his team’s 421 yard outburst on offense despite playing on bad field conditions:

“We know we have to play in this kind of weather in order to advance in the AFC tournament, so it was a good experience.”

Buccaneers WR Michael Spurlock on returning the team’s 1st kickoff for a touchdown in 1,865 tries :

Star Player of the Game: Colts WR Anthony Gonzalez, who caught 7 receptions for 86 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Colts QB Peyton Manning on the team’s game-winning drive:

“It’s one of those drives that you just do at the right time. Part of it kind of makes you wish we could have done that earlier in the game and not have to rely on that, but it’s always nice to know that you’re capable of doing it — starting on our own 9, backed up, and a hostile crowd. It feels good to be able to get that touchdown.”

Star Player of the Game: Eagles RB Brian Westbrook, who rushed 18 times for 81 yards & caught 9 receptions for 63 yards.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid on Westbrook’s kneel-down at the 1 yard line which allowed Philadelphia to run out the clock for the win:

“It was brilliant. He used that Villanova education and transferred it to the football field.”

Star Player of the Game: Chargers RB’s Darren Sproles & LaDainian Tomlinson. Sproles rushed 25 times for 122 yards & scored 2 touchdowns while Tomlinson rushed 15 times for 116 yards & scored 2 touchdowns.

Lions QB Jon Kitna on the team’s 6th consecutive loss:

“When it goes bad for us, it goes really bad. I’m not sure why.”

Bears head coach Lovie Smith on his team’s inability to play well during the 2nd half of Monday’s game:
