Knicks fans can finally rejoice after having to deal with the ugly sexual harassment case against head coach Isiah Thomas that my homie DJ Special Blend blogged about recently.

36 year old Allan Houston will attempt an NBA comeback, signing with the team that he spent 6 of his 9 seasons with.
Houston has not appeared in an NBA game since January 19th, 2005.
When healthy, Houston is one of the best outside shooters in the league. Allan has career averages of 17.3 PPG in 839 games, a 40.2% 3-point field goal percentage & a 86.3% free throw percentage.

Of course i still remember the game-winning & series-ending floater that he hit to knock off the top-seeded Miami Heat in 5 games during the 1999 NBA Playoffs (which ended up being the last NBA game ever played at the old Miami Arena), which helped the eighth-seeded Knicks make the NBA Finals.

With the draft-day trade acquiring Zach Randolph, a slimmed-down Eddy Curry plus a “newfound” Stephon Marbury, the Knicks are thinking playoffs in ‘08.

Hopefully they’ll give the New York faithful at MSG something to cheer about this season.

The NLCS & ALCS kick off this weekend & there’s no question that the Colorado Rockies have been this postseason’s Cinderella team.
After winning 17 of their last 18 regular season games (plus a single game playoff against San Diego) they are coming off a 3 game sweep over Philadelphia & are now just 4 wins away from making their 1st World Series apperance in franchise history.

I’ll be rooting for Colorado for 2 reasons. One being that i like to see new blood play for a world championship. Two, they are playing an Arizona team that just swept my beloved Cubbies
It’s ok though, we’ll be back next year stronger than ever!!

In the AL, i think Boston will beat Cleveland but i wouldn’t be surprised if that series went the distance.
I promise i’ll have NFL Week 5 Recaps up later this week! Been battlin’ a nasty cold all day today so of course that limits me from doin’ much. Finally got my 1st W last weekend in our Justice League for Fantasy Football so hopefully that will get me goin’!!!
Meanwhile, DJ Special Blend’s Inner City Youth squad is 5-0 and looking like a strong title contender.

I almost gave him his 1st loss though, until Tony Romo decided to go ballistic on the Giants D
Until then,
