The White Sox & OF Jermaine Dye agreed to a 2 year, $22 million extension on Saturday which will keep Dye on the South Side through 2009.
This comes after a career 2006 season which saw Dye set career highs in home runs (44), runs batted in (120) & slugging percentage (.622).

Dye is hitting just .242 this season in 105 games, which is currently the lowest average over his 13 year career in seasons which he has appeared in 100 games or more.
