Kobe Bryant is in the news once again.
Â
This time it’s for an amateur video that he’s featured in which is a “diss” towards current Los Angeles Lakers C Andrew Bynum & GM Mitch Kupchak.
Apparently, Bryant is frustrated that the Lakers were unable to obtain New Jersey Nets G Jason Kidd in a mid-season trade. The Nets wanted Bynum in return, who L.A. wasn’t willing to give up.
I know that Kobe is frustrated that the Lakers don’t have a team that’s ready to contend for a championship, but that is no right for him to blast a current teammate & GM.
This will most likely result in a trade.
Â
There are two teams that realistically have the pieces to make a blockbuster deal for Kobe, which is New York & Chicago.
Â
The Knicks could include a combination of players that include G’s Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson & Mardy Collins, F’s David Lee & Channing Frye and C Randolph Morris.
Â
The Bulls could include a combination of players that include F’s Luol Deng, P.J. Brown, Andres Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas & Michael Sweetney, G Ben Gordon, Thabo Sefolosha and Chris Duhon.

I will address the Michael Barrett trade in my next Weekly Chicago Cubs Update.

The NBA Draft is just 1 week away from tonight! I’ll have pick-by-pick analysis throughout the evening as the 1st round gets underway from New York.
Until then,
