Congratulations to Jerry Sloan & the Utah Jazz, as they advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 10 years.
Utah did it by mauling Golden State on the boards, outrebounding Golden State 269-171 in the series.
Carlos Boozer had a monster series with 24.2 PPG & 14 RPG.
Deron Williams also had a very good series with 16.8 PPG & 9.6 APG.
Andrei Kirilenko might’ve broken out at the right time for the Jazz.
After averaging just 5.3 PPG & 3.1 RPG in the 1st round against Houston, Kirilenko exploded for 16.2 PPG & 8.8 RPG against Golden State.
Utah will now face either Phoenix (3-1 during regular season) or San Antonio (2-2 during regular season) in the Western Conference Finals.
The Jazz have a 2-4 all-time record during the Conference Finals with their last series win coming in ‘97 when they swept the L.A. Lakers in 4 games.
For Golden State, their deepest playoff run in 16 years comes to an end.

The Warriors have not been to the Conference Finals since 1975, when they lost to Phoenix in 7 games.
I’ll have a possible Cavs/Nets series recap up tonight if Cleveland wins.
Until then,
