Back in Business!

What’s up ya’ll,

BMSRadio.com has been down for a quick minute, but we’re back! Thanks to everyone for your patience.

I’m sure many of you are echoing the same thoughts i am right about now:

chi

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE CHICAGO BULLS??

bulls

Saturday’s game was downright ugly to watch. So many things went wrong that i don’t know where to begin.

Tonight is not looking good either. Game 2 is at halftime with Detroit up 58-43 & looking like they will head to Chicago with a 2-0 series lead.

agagga

I know that Chicago will battle back at home, but they are not matching Detroit’s intesity level in a series that most people viewed to be a very competitive one.

anocioni

I’m not too thrilled either with Andres Nocioni’s “guarantee” that Chicago will win the series in 7 games. So far, Nocioni is not doing enough to back up his trash talking.

Andres’ totals in this series so far: 10 points on 4-16 shooting, including 1-9 from three point range.

I watched both of yesterday’s Semifinal Playoff games & noticed a lot of interesting stuff.

spavlovic

How about that amazing block by Sasha Pavlovic on Jason Kidd yesterday? Turned out to be a HUGE one as Cleveland held on to beat New Jersey 81-77.

dgooden zilgauskas

The Cavaliers absolutely mauled the Nets in rebounds with a 51-37 advantage. How bad was it? Both Drew Gooden & Zydrunas Ilgauskas EACH grabbed 14 rebounds apiece.

sas

Out West, The Spurs survived a shootout by edging the Suns 111-106.

snash

Phoenix had to play 45 seconds without Steve Nash after Nash collided with the Spurs’ Tony Parker in a head-on collision with 2:53 to go in regulation.

snash

The collision left Nash with a deep gash in his nose that would not stop bleeding. Nash got 6 stitches after the game & should be fine for Game 2.

rbell

Raja Bell might’ve been the reason for Phoenix blowing its’ homecourt during Game 1. Bell finished with just 10 points in 44 minutes after spending most of the game in foul trouble.

tduncan astoudemire

The matchup between Tim Duncan (33 pts, 16 reb, 3 blk) and Amare Stoudemire (20 pts, 18 reb, 5 blk) should be a great one to watch all series.

gsw utahjazz

Finally, the Golden State Warriors will look to keep their surprising playoff run going tonight against the Utah Jazz. Each home team won during their 4 game regular-season split & i expect this to be a very deep series.

bdavis dwilliams

Baron Davis (25.0 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 5.7 APG & 1.8 SPG in playoffs) against Deron Williams (16.3 PPG, 8.4 APG, 5.0 RPG & 1.1 SPG) should be an excellent matchup to watch at point guard.

dfusher dfisher

Jazz guard Derek Fisher averaged a career-high 13.3 PPG for Golden State during the ‘05-06 season.

Before i sign off, gotta talk about the much-hyped Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight which took place on Saturday night from Las Vegas.

oscar

Mayweather won it in 12 rounds with an official score of 122-118. Some people in De La Hoya’s camp felt that the “Golden Boy” was cheated, but how can De La Hoya be the winner if only 20% of his punches actually connected?

mjb scombs jayz elongoria 50cent jnciaah
The star-studded crowd included Mary J. Blige, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z, Eva Longoria, 50 Cent, & Jack Nicholson.

agaga

Mayweather Jr. stated that he is officially “retired” after his win, but would be welcome to a rematch with De La Hoya “if that’s what the public wants.”

That is all for now! I’ll holla at ya’ll real soon.
Until then,
