as a huge disappointment for the defending World Champs.
Chicago is on the verge of playoff elimination after losing 14 of 22 games in September
during the middle of a AL Wild Card pennant race. Chicago currently trails Detroit by 7 games for the AL Central lead & Minnesota
by 5.5 games for the AL Wild Card lead after Saturday's action.
Before i wrap it up, gotta shoutout former Chicago Bull, 3-time NBA Championship and one-time Sixth man of the year winner Toni Kukoc!
Kukoc announced his retirement from the NBA last week after spending 13 seasons with Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta & Milwaukee.
Kukoc was the star behind the infamous "1.8 second" play during his rookie season when former Bulls F Scottie Pippen refused to re-enter the game on Chicago's final possesion against the New York Knicks in 1994. Kukoc ended up hitting the game-winner at the buzzer to defeat the Knicks & assert himself as one of the best players to come out of Croatia.
I would like to take the time & thank my fellow Blogsquad members DJ Special Blend & Janono
for the kind words of support regarding the passing of my grandmother on Tuesday.
I will be reading a poem on my father's behalf that will be dedicated to my grandmother
at the funeral on Monday. I'm sure it will be a very emotional day for everyone,
including myself.
Until then,
God bless everyone & have a safe weekend.
